Hello, I’m the fairest of gentle ladies, Lady Maybelle!  I am a 2-year old spayed, mixed breed dog.  I am medium-sized at 59 pounds.  I was found as a stray with my friend Huck Finnegan.

Although I was found as a stray, you’d never know it because I have perfect house manners!  I am house-broken, kennel trained, and sleep through the night without a peep.  The only thing that gets me way too excited is cats!  I bark a lot around cats.

I do love being outside in my backyard and I love to watch the squirrels in the trees.  Sometimes I bark at them, but I redirect quickly with words of advice from my foster mom.

My perfect forever home might have other dogs (like my friend Huck Finnegan) but I would also do fine as a solo dog.  I would be fine in a house with children.  My perfect forever family would be able to take me on walks and hikes everyday.  I walk really well on a leash, but sometimes loud noises startle me.
