Hi potential adopters! My name is Toby Mac and I am a 10 week old cattle dog mix! I’m about 15 pounds right now but at full grown I should be a moderate sized dog (40-60 pounds) not too little, not too big, but perfect!
I do love my meal times and treats; it’s my favorite time of the day! I am one smart guy thanks to my cattle dog genetics. I know my sit commands, walking nicely on my leash and getting better with my potty training. My foster mom has crate traine d me, but it’s not my favorite place but getting better each day and now sleeping through the night. You may ask what kind of home would best suit me? I would really like a family with another dog so I can play and get my herding energy out. It takes me a little while to warm up to new dogs because I am so tiny but I always love new people.
I also love to cuddle and sleep! I would love a family that lets me cuddle on the couch and gives me kisses. As a herding dog, I might try to herd young children so it might be best to have dog savvy children or a family familiar with my breed. I enjoy learning and having set boundaries in my home. I want to please my new human and follow them everywhere they go. I am a remarkable puppy because I love to rest just as much as playing! I just learned my new love of retrieving tennis balls and going on hikes! I am an easy keeper and I just want a home of my own.
