Hello! My name is Jace and I’m the most handsome guy around. Everyone comments on my good looks and how I prance around like a little show dog.
I’m a 1 year old heeler mix and I weigh 35 lbs. I’m more than just good looks though, my foster family says I’m the complete package! I have a very calm and sweet temperament. I don’t get on furniture unless I’m invited and I’m potty trained and crate trained.
I LOVE playing with other dogs! I’m the type of guy who let’s the 8lb dog boss me around. What can I say, I have submissive energy and just go with the flow. I can adapt to many different play styles or leave the older dogs alone. I’m really hoping for a forever home with another playful dog. My heeler foster sibling has a Fi collar and I’ve helped her triple her daily steps by zooming around the backyard together (I’m pretty sure she has a crush on me).
I am shy towards new humans and will need continued socialization. I’ve been learning to trust in my foster home and I’m finding that getting scratches and snuggling is really nice! I’m loving all the dog beds and soft blankets and I’m starting to play with toys. I really like going for walks and hikes and do good on the leash. I haven’t met kids or cats yet but foster mom thinks I’d do fine with both. Older kids would be better though since I startle at loud noises and sudden movements.
