My name is Kingfisher, but just like many other blonde bombshells, I respond to another name “Fergie” - aren’t I just the sweetest black eyed pea? 

I’m listed as a Pointer mix, but there is definitely some additional breeds in my DNA. I’m about 2 years old and 60lbs - I'm full grown at this size. 

I love adventure: snowy walks, sunny hikes, camping, even river trips are fun for me. I walk well on a leash, and am curious about dogs and people I see on our walks. Sometimes I get eager to go faster, but I’m happy to slow right down again. 

I love kids and adults, but I can be a little shy at first. However, give me a few minutes and I’d be happy to give you kisses, snuggle with you, and accept all the head skritches you can give. My foster mom says that she falls in love with me every time I look into her eyes while she’s petting me. Who can blame her? My smokey eye game is strong! 

While I like adventure, I’m also very happy to chill and snuggle with my family. Perfect energy, I'm told. I like to play and have done great with all the dogs in my foster home. 

I’m crate trained, and house trained, and I respond to correction well. I've had some separation anxiety, but my foster dad is helping me with that. I’m learning to feel safe when I’m left alone, even in my crate. I will probably need some additional help from my new family.
