Hi everyone! My name is Maggie Moonbeam. I'm the cutest yellow lab mix around and I'm around a year old, I weigh about 50 lbs. I love my people and going on walks! I am super friendly and great with other dogs.

I am potty trained and great on a leash with a harness on, but I'm still working on crate training. I am better left out to lounge around the house. I know how to sit, wait, stay, leave it and recall, but I would love to learn more commands with you. I'm very good at learning with treats. I also love playing with toys and playing ball!

I am looking for a home with an active person or family. I love going on walks, so we can go on adventures together! I think I would like hiking too. If you have kids, I think I would be good with them as long as they’re gentle with me. I haven't met any cats so I am not sure how I would do with one.

I had tibia surgery on January 18th and had a plate put in my leg. I am recovering really well, but I will need a home that will make sure I’m still taking things easy at first - being gentle with play and not walking for too long. Once I’m healed soon I’m sure I’ll be an active dog down for adventures! My foster mom will tell you everything about my care.
