Me, and you, and Zaboomafooooo   That could be your new theme song if you decide to give me a furever home!

My foster parents named me Zaboomafoo because they are convinced I am part lemur and/or kinkajou, however, the shelter said I am a heeler mix. I am about 7 months old and medium sized at around 30 pounds. I am very energetic if you aren't paying enough attention to me but once you decide to cuddle me or give me a cozy bed I am quite the princess as you can see. I am in puppy (lemur) training right now and am doing SO GREAT with my commands and listening to my parents. They say the only things I really need to improve upon right now is not jumping when I am excited and taking treats a little more gently.

I am very good on my slip lead and like to stay by your side. I am crate trained and don't mind being in there if I am sleeping or you are away, I will bark to let you know I need to get out and go to the bathroom though. I currently have foster siblings (human and dog) of all sizes and ages and I do really well with them! When I was rescued I was very emaciated so I am still a little hesitant to have the other dogs around my food so my foster parents feed me in my kennel to avoid any drama I may or may not feel like causing at that time.

Although I love my dog siblings my foster parents don't think it would be necessary that I go in to a home with other dogs, just a home that is willing to love on me a ton and is committed to spend the time to ensure I retain my training knowledge to help me be the best dog (lemur) I can be. If I sound like the perfect fit for you, apply to meet me at rescuerovers.org!
