SWEET AND LOVING BLUE TICK HEELER SEEKING FOREVER FAMILY!
Hi there! My name is Cannoli, and I am as sweet, if not sweeter, than my name implies!
I was rescued from the streets where I was just trying to survive. I have a few scars from those days, including missing half of one of my ears. However, I’ve been told that scars are cool, and it doesn’t bother me.
Due to my days of street living, I’m a little bit cautious when it comes to new things. One new thing I LOVE, is being a house dog. I love the food, the couch, and most of all, the love! I love to snuggle and get all the attention. I have been working hard on kennel training and I’m pretty much a pro at this point.
While I am a heeler, I don’t try to heard any of the other dogs or people at my house. Ain’t nobody got time for that! Speaking of other dogs, my favorite dog at my foster home is an 8lb chi mix. I like all the dogs, but I do best with non-dominant type dogs. I've recently discovered toys and occasional play time is fun, but I’d rather snuggle up next to humans and get belly rubs.
I should mention that while I am great dog, I do have some quirks. For one thing, I really like to steal stuff and hide it in my kennel. Shoes are my favorite, but if you leave your clothes on the floor, I’ll take those too. I won’t chew it up, but I will take it and sleep with it. Also, I like to talk, not only barking, but rooing. I roo when I’m happy. I also do a happy dance.
I haven’t mastered any tricks yet, but I know I can with additional training. Now that I’ve totally exposed myself, I hope that we can connect and be the best of friends.
