This is TWO litters sharing the same foster home.
7 babies are 3.5 months old border collie mixes and the 2 tagalongs are 3.5 month old chihuahua dachshund mixes (Precious Cooper and Money Girl).
The Border Collie pups will be small to medium sized when full grown (25-35 lbs) and the Chiweenie's will likely top ou t at around 8lbs. All of these pups have BIG personalities, though!
Like all puppies they are working on manners (no nipping or chewing, walking on leash) and potty training, but are quick learners and highly food motivated which makes training super easy. They do know how to use the doggie door and potty pad trained when in a pen, and also sleep in a crate through the night. All puppies do great with other dogs, both big and smaller than them, so can be only dogs or join a family with other 4 legged family members. They have not met cats before however but are young enough to learn.
The border collie pups do need any kids in the home to be over 8 to help prevent nipping and herding.
