Meet Montu. A revered Egyptian God of War. His next battle? For your heart.

This BIG boy is maybe 80lbs, but maybe more! He came with no confirmed weight and all his foster knows is he’s a big ol boy. What makes him so big? His heart no doubt! Montu is about 6 years old and a Lab/Rottweiler mix according to the shelter. But look at the little piglet tail and tufts of undercoat! Wouldn’t a DNA test be a great bonding experience for you and your newest best friend??

Montu walks incredibly well on a leash and is a chill dude when around other dogs. He’s had a few play dates and keeps it pretty low key when the others try to play. He is also great with cats! He lives with two and while they may be a bit more intimidated and keep on their side of the baby gate, this god of war has no fight in him. Unless we’re talking about his best laid plan to win your heart ;)

Just like any god, this good boy can do it all. Couch potato while you work? Check. Make you the most popular human at the dog park because everyone is saying, WOW is that Montu? Check. Make you believe in true love? Check.

Wanna hear more? He sits! He lays! He fetches! He high fives and shakes! I mean, what can he NOT do??

He’s been adjusting beautifully in his foster home, but because he was an owner surrender this poor guy gets a little whiney from time to time. But wouldn’t you?! He does take a few minutes to settle when you leave him, but his whines are little and he quickly quiets down. Then you’ll come home to the goodest boy! He is great left home alone and free sleeps at night.

Once this precious boy has time to settle in and know he is home, watch out world! He’s already getting a little more spunky each and every day!
