Hi, I'm Dio, I am here looking for a new family to call my own. I am a handsome, 45lb, 2 year old heeler mix that is great with other dogs and even cats.
It takes me a while to warm up to people only because I am from the reservations of New Mexico and wasn't exposed to many for the first year of my life but my foster mom has been working hard on showing me how cool people (and their yummy food can be ). She's also been helping me learn my manners and basic commands. I am so smart she says and am easy to train. I am great in my crate and potty trained, too!
I love to go for walks and adventures, and even do well running along side my foster moms bike.
I would do best in a home with other young, stable, playful dogs but older, patient kids would probably be better since the littles tend to make me nervous.
