Hi friends. I’m Woofie Goldberg, my foster family thinks my name is hilarious, I don’t know why.
I am about 6 months old. Folks say I am a border collie mix but, honestly, it's hard to know. I'm also a little big for a border collie, I already weigh 33lbs! I should weigh around 60lbs when I'm all grown up.
I am a shy girl. I've learned to like to be in the same room as my person, but so far I still prefer they not approach me. However, I am learning that ear scra tches and pets are not a bad thing. A patient but persistent adopter who will help me learn to trust is what I need!
I am mostly housetrained, with only the occasional accident, and I like to chill in my kennel overnight and when my family is gone to work.
I like the kids who visit, they are smaller and not so scary as grown ups. But any kids in my forever home would need to be gentle and dog-savvy. If they are, I think we could be best buddies!
I have never met a cat, but us shy pups are often good with kitties.
Because I am so scared, I would love a forever family with a confident dog to show me the ropes and help me learn to trust them.
