Hi, I’m Little Ham!
You’d never guess it from my personality, but I’ve spent a lot of time alone on the street. While I may have been found as a stray, everyone who meets me always tells me how gentle and sweet I am.
It is my biggest dream to find a forever home with a warm bed and loving humans where I can be their only precious fur-baby, where the only mention of streets is when we go on a walk, together.
I’m around 3.5 years old, and 100% body pillow, er, I mean Pittbull mix. I am a happy, energetic girl who loves going on walks and getting as close as possible to my humans for pets and cuddles. I get excited and sometimes forget my manners (it’s just so hard to keep my paws on the ground when I’m so excited to see you!), so it’s important that my future family is willing to train me to help me be the best pup I can be.
I’m small but mighty, so big kids only as I can be a little heavy-handed when I’m playing. I am a bit of an attention hog (pun intended), so I need to be the only dog in the house. Some smart people said that I'm not super great with dogs because I may not have been socialized when I was a puppy. It's also always a mystery as far as what may have happened to me when I was living on my own. The mean streets can be kind of, well, mean. I get a little nervous at times, so I’m looking for a family that can help me feel calm and safe, and can give me the consistency I need to be able to learn, relax, and snuggle in my new home.
