Ehm! Rochester here. I’m a dashingly handsome and rotund 6 year old gentleman. Who is embarking on a new journey. On this journey I’ve learned to use the outside facilities quite well and the idea of a personal bedroom (crate). I’m used to my freedom but it can be overwhelming in this new place. I don’t know what it is to be a bachelor as I have never been alone. I am not opposed to the idea though. That just means I am the center of attention, ALWAYS. Who doesn’t like that idea?!  After spending the first 5 years of my life living with a 100 other dogs in an open shelter I appreciate the calmer and easy going chums (dogs). I have had my fill of puppy energy and am ready to just take it easy.

 

I currently have 2 passions in life. FOOD and YOU!! Although my housekeeper believes I need to cut back on the hors d’ oeuvre, I wholeheartedly disagree. I’m just big boned….. She is constantly nagging me to go for walks in the country but is content if I agree to walk the neighborhood. I secretly enjoy strolling next to you. It has been so eye opening to get out and about. I’m told it helps relieve stress from the day to day tasks of running a manor. I would agree with statement.

 

 Now I am a reserved guy on first meeting but don’t let that dismay you. I warm up very quickly, especially with bribery. And no, I’m not ashamed to say it either. As for young children they intimidate me. You see, they move so quickly! With proper incentive and boundaries I do believe I could be comfortable around them. 

 

All things aside, I am waiting a home that is easy going but will keep up with my daily walks. Most importantly people who love me and pet me all day. Apply to meet me at rescuerover.org
