They say April showers bring May flowers My name is Honeysuckle and come rain or shine I’m so excited to find my forever family! I’m a gorgeous two year old female with eye catching coloring like a Swiss Mountain Dog. I’m listed as a border collie mix but who really knows. What we do know is that I‘m a super fun and loving girl! At 55 lbs I'm the perfect lap dog size...well at least that’s what I think  I recently raised 5 adorable puppies and was an amazing mom. Now it’s my turn for a happily ever after! Let me tell you all about me and you can decide if you could be my forever family.

I walk well on a transitional leash and seriously love getting out! From a stroll through the neighborhood to a vigorous hike, I’m your girl!   I’m house-trained and past the annoying destructive puppy behaviors. When foster mom runs errands she leaves me out and usually comes home to find me napping on the couch with my foster siblings. I’m still learning to love my crate and alone time so my ideal family is home most of the time. I do great with other dogs and would be fine with doggie siblings or being an only dog. No cats or small animals for me though, they are way too fun to chase. I’ve got my basic commands down and will do pretty much anything for a treat! This includes jumping up and checking the counters for snacks so I need someone who will keep teaching me house rules and boundaries.
