Hey there! My name is J.Meister!
But my friends call me Jäger and by friends I mean *everyone*! I got my name because I was found greeting people outside of a liquor store!
I am 8-9 month old Akita mix. I weigh in at about 50lbs currently, and still have growing to do. I am great with dog-savvy kids and other dogs! I do tend to get a little excited and I can be a mouthy sometimes, but my foster parents are helping me work on that!
My foster family has two young kids, 5 dogs and a cat. I get along well with everyone, but my foster mom says cats are a no-go just because I am a little too rough with them. Kids over 8 would be best, but if your kids are younger and super dog-savvy, we can definitely talk!
I do pretty good in my kennel, I am kenneled while my foster parents are at work and during feeding time. I am still working on my potty training, but doing very well!
I walk pretty well on a leash but could use some more help and guidance. But, I have lots of my basics down! I’m an intelligent boy that has bit of a derpy side. I love to cuddle and play!
I’m a big puppy who's still learning what’s not a toy and what is, so kenneling me while you're away until we can figure all that out together is definitely a good idea!
