Hi! I’m Donovan Mitchell. Though I don’t play basketball, I am very handsome, nice and always try to do my best, just like my namesake.
I’m a 6-month-old, male German Shepherd, I weigh 40 lbs. but I’ve got a lot of growing to do and will double in size.
I am a sweet boy and love to hang out right by you. My foster mom says I’m really smart and learn quickly. I love my treats and my focus is off the charts. I’ve learned how to sit, lay down and shake in my first week! I'm a smart guy and I would really benefit from training.
I play well with my dog friends and show my puppy side often. I even like to play alone with a ball (wait, I guess I am like Donovan Mitchell!) and gleefully throw it in the air and chase it. I like other dogs a lot but sometimes I get a little scared or jealous if I’m not getting all the attention. I’m working on potty training and I do really well if I’m taken out consistently. I’m almost crate-trained and sleep for 10 hours at night with no accidents. I like having a short time-out in the crate a few times a day.
