Gorgeous Dutch Shepherd mix seeks an experienced dog person.
Must love dog sports such as GRC, Rally, Tracking or Dock Diving.
In return you will have a loyal, loving companion for the rest of your life.

Can you believe it? even though I'm the most incredible boy, super handsome and knock-your-socks-off smart, my forever family still hasn't found me.
But that's okay...I know they're out there.

And, in the meantime, I have the best foster home ever! My foster mama has started me on dock diving and I am a natural! I'm so smart I'm pretty much good at everything.
I know, that sounds like a brag. And lots of dogs claim to be smart, but you guys...I am REALLY SMART. My foster mom is a dog trainer and she's worked with hundreds (maybe thousands?) of dogs and she says I'm one of the smartest dogs she's ever trained.

I'm a Dutch Shepherd, and I just turned 2 years old. I weigh around 80lbs and I have a beautiful brindle coat. Dutch Shepherds are a little like German Shepherds. We're a "natural breed" and we LOVE to work. You can read more about the breed here, if you want https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/dutch-shepherd/

Foster mom says I have it all, food drive, toy drive and a love for work and learning. I have a good foundation with basic obedience, walk nicely on leash, I'm potty trained and crate trained. I don't LOVE my crate, and I will tell you about it when I'm not happy, but I've learned a lot about it being an okay place to hang out.

I do still need some work on my social skills, so I'm looking for a home where I can be the only "kid" so only kids who are teenagers and dog-savvy.
I am good with dogs and would be happy to live with one. No cats for me, though.

I would love a home with a person who can spend a lot of time with me and continue with my training. Rescue Rovers says that they will hold out for a sporting home for me and that makes me super happy because I'm a STAR at that stuff! I know my people are out there.
