This is Waffles, a 6-month-old pit bull mix who is as sweet as she looks.  This puppy and her brother were in the shelter for two months in New Mexico before coming up here to find her forever home.  Want some company in the kitchen?  She will be right by your side.  Want to cuddle while watching Netflix?  Got you covered. 

She is great with people of all ages, even toddlers, and loves to give out puppy kisses.  She loves to play with all dogs.  She might be petite at only 25 pounds right now, but she can play with the best of them.  She has not spent much time around cats, but when we say "hi" to them on walks, she doesn't seem too interested in them. 

She is a puppy, so she will need some guidance on how to be your best bud.  She is pretty good with “sit" and "down." She is still working on house training, but she has only had a couple of accidents in the house.  The crate is not her favorite, but she calms herself after 10 minutes of crying.  She does well with tethering and knows how to quietly entertain herself if you're working or lounging in the living room.  She likes to wander around and take little breaks on longer walks, so if you're looking for a partner for leisurely, evening strolls...

Waffles has a lot of love to offer and is looking for the perfect family to show her how awesome the world is.  If you have a soft spot for toothy grins, beautiful eyes, and a wiggly butt, apply to meet her ASAP!
