Hi! I'm Ewan and I love to explore and play!
I am an 11 month old border collie/heeler mix who enjoys being right by your side. I am currently working on my manners in my foster home and need a dedicated family who will continue my training.
I am such a happy, outgoing boy in my foster home that they didn’t even know I was the nervous type until we started meeting people! Turns out I am a bit edgy with new folks, especially men, so a slow and proper introduction to people is necessary. I need a strong leader because of my nervousness, but once I know you're in charge and will take care of me, I will trust you forever. I loooooooooove to play. I love playing Keep-Away (from you, of course) and I love playing tug. I also looooooooove to give the humans in my foster home kisses and cuddles. I will love to do al these things with my forever people, too, once we are friends!
My foster mom says I do a very decent job of introducing myself to other pups when meeting for the first time, but I would like help making sure I learn all my manners and how to be the best boy. I would like my forever family to be fun-loving and active because I have a medium to high energy level.
Also, I am fully house trained (no accidents!!) and kennel trained. My foster mom says I'm bigger than I realize (about 50 lbs) so dog-savvy kids over the age of 12 would be the best siblings for me. If you're interested in meeting me go to rescuerovers.org and apply today!
