Hi, my name is Rambler. Let’s ramble on!

I’m a 50lb, 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix. My foster mom thinks I am quite the handsome lad.

I am a love bug who wants nothing more than to snuggle up to you and be your best friend. I had a rough start in life, so I can be a little shy at first but once I trust you, I’m the most loyal dog there is.

I love my foster siblings, have lots of energy and would do well in an active home. I’m crate trained and my foster mom is working on my leash manners, I just get so excited and tend to pull sometimes!

I don’t mean to brag, but I’m a pretty smart guy. With some patience, love and lots of treats I’ll be able to learn anything you’d like me to. I need someone who is willing to put in the time to train me so I can be the best possible dog I can be.

I do tend to run when frightened so don’t have me off leash anywhere until I’m properly trained. I would make a great adventure buddy and would do best in a home where I can truly be a part of the family. I have yet to meet a dog that I haven’t gotten along with and would love to have a sibling to play with. I haven’t been introduced to cats but haven’t shown any aggression to anything yet. I like kids but can be a little nervous at first. If they give me treats initially, I’m great (I’ll be friends with anyone who gives me treats).
