I’m a 4 year old Border Collie mix. I’ve been with Rescue Rovers for almost a year, and in that time I’ve lived with 2 different trainers. Why? Well…long story short, I’m a wildcard!

I’m super smart. I have all my basic obedience down cold. I walk well on leash, I love my crate, I would never potty in your house. I am lovely with my foster kids, get along with my foster doggie-siblings and even live successfully with a cat.
Most of the time.

Sometimes, I’m crazy. Sometimes I get all freaked out for no reason. Like…no reason at all. Some mornings I wake up and feel bitey. Some evenings I decide my doggie friends aren’t my friends anymore. Some days I want to hide in the back of my kennel and not talk to anyone.
My foster families have worked hard on exposing me to all life has to offer - people, car rides, every day noises, you name it. I’m a sensitive girl who will probably never be all that emotionally stable, tbh, but I am so many other fun things! I am intelligent, energetic, playful and intense! I’m also sweet, snuggly, loyal and lovey. I’m both shy and needy, sugar and spice! I need humans who understand that and can be patient, but also not put up with too much – if that makes sense? My foster mom can help you understand better.

Things I love - fetch, tug of war, hiking, long walks, trick training, obedience training, and snuggling on the couch/bed.

Things I need in my forever home – to be the only furbaby, nokids or older, dog savvy kids, humans who will love me despite my quirks.
