Hello! My name is Balko, and I’m a neutered, 70lb Male Shepherd mix.
I am potty trained, and walk pretty well on a leash despite my size. I’m really a gentle giant, but sometimes I don’t know how big I am.
I can't control myself around little kids (they just look like playmates to me!) so a home with older or no kids is needed.
I play well with most dogs, but am learning to control my size so I don’t upset them. I would be better as a single dog or a fur sibling that is young and as playful as I am. I am mostly crate trained, but I hate being away from the people so I cry sometimes (give me a nice pig ear and I'm good to go!).
I'm friendly to new people, sometimes I try to give them a hug but they don't like that. When I form my bond, I could just sit by my person's side forever. If you think you can help me control my size related issues, please apply to meet me at www.rescuerovers.org!
