My name is Akua and I hope you are about to find your new forever family member.

I am a one year old staffie mix and I'm ready to take on the world with you. I am a sturdy girl but I also am a big teddy bear. You may have seen my selfie Sunday post? I take my cuddles seriously and make sure my humans *always* feel loved!

My favorite things include: snuggles, long walks, chasing balls, going for car rides, chewing on bones, doggie toys, and playing with other dogs.

As much as I *love* playing with other dogs, my foster mom thinks I may be best as an only dog because sometimes I have a hard time sharing my people and my toys. If you think you can manage what my foster mom calls "resource guarding" I could definitely have a doggy sibling. But I would be fine without one, too. Especially if I can continue to play at day camp!

I love kids. I am big though and don't realize my size sometimes so older, dog savvy kids would be best. Probably 10+.

I am kennel trained and potty trained. I know some basic obedience and have learned a lot in doggie day camp and training classes. I would love to be able to continue those things with my future forever family so I can learn all the things and be *really* impressive!
