Greetings! The name’s Zoltar and I’m a 3 yr old male chihuahua who is about 13 lbs. Let’s get this out of the way first, what’s with my name? Well, a Zoltar is a fortune teller and I don’t want to brag, but I’m pretty good at telling fortunes myself. Here I’ll show you: what will your future hold if you adopt me? First, a constant snuggle companion. I am the very happiest when I am sitting next to, or on you.  If I notice your hands are free I’ll place my paw on your hand to remind you of what you could be doing right now. True to my breed I love to sleep in bed with you, under some cozy blankets. 

Second, I am a very well behaved boy-as I’m sure you no doubt expected. I love to go places with you and I do well meeting new dogs; new people sometimes make me feel nervous if they try to reach and touch me right away. I prefer they wait until I’m ready. I also am not super hyper, I’m content to just relax with you rather than barking at the window.

 Third, I will love you forever. I have had at least two other homes in my short 3 years. The last one I thought was forever and my heart was broken when I found out it wasn’t. You see, a Zoltar is a one man show,  and so I don’t really enjoy sharing the spotlight with other dogs. I’m actually working very hard with my foster mom and learning all about how I won’t ever be hungry and alone again so I don’t have to guard my food and people, but also I really want my next home to be my forever family so I think I’d do best in a home with kids over 13, and as an only dog. Well, there *is* a female chihuahua at my foster house and we get along great. So I would like to live as an only dog, or with a female dog (I’m a ladies man) who is OK letting me be in charge. Someone who knows chihuahua temperament would be great too, cause we’re kind of special  ️
