Introducing Phury, a 14 month old male Belgian Malinois.
He is striking to look at and over the top smart. Has the drive malinois are known for and could go after the ball/frisbee for hours, but my arm normally gets tired after about 30 min. He walks well on the leash and knows his basic commands. He is house and kennel trained as well.
Phury, however, was not socialized as a pup so he does not do well with new dogs and lacks some confidence. With training and socializing, this will get better and he should be able to live with other dogs (his owner had 2 other dogs he grew up with). The training will also help his new owner and him bond as well as polish off his training.
Phury's perfect new home will be someone who has Malinois experience, Someone who is dedicated to his training and daily brain work/nose work. A home that has no small animals and if there is another large dog, is willing to keep them separate until it is safe to introduce them (3-6 months is possible) and this is done with a trainer as well. Phury has the potential to be a possible SAR or other type working dog if the training is put in.
