Hello!!! My name is Emberly and I'm a special girl looking for my forever family. I am a corgi/mix, weigh about 15lbs and approx 5 yrs old. My foster mom says I look like a dancer because of my adorable stance. I love playing fetch and tug with toys and balls and get along good with my fur brother's (11yr old lab, 3yr old min-pin-pug-chi) and sister (11yr old lab mix). I am kennel trained and potty trained. I love sleeping in my kennel for day time naps and at night, too. Although, my foster mom has let me sleep with her and the other dogs on the bed, a few times, and I like that. I am a bit of an alpha female and a little protective of my food and kennel, with other dogs. I love treats and am learning to wait my turn. I have never been aggressive, just assertive. My foster mom is working with me every day to remember that it's ok to relax and she says I've come a long way since I've been with her.
I love to go for walks and do really well on a leash. Bye-bye rides, in the car, are awesome, too. I'm looking for a family that will be patient with me as I can be a little sassy with other dogs and a little busy at times; always wanting to play. My foster mom says I'm silly when I play and calls me a "Cutie Girl". I'm ok around kids but might be best to be with one's that are a little older.
