Hello, hoomans! My name is Parkly and I’m a 1.5 year old pit mix. My foster mama says I’m adorable and sweet and funny and beautiful and a super good girl, but she can’t keep me. So we’re looking for someone who will think all those things about me FOREVER!
First, the basics. I’m house trained (completely) and crate trained (mostly). I’m good with other dogs (big and small) and I love to play. I am also good with humans of all ages, including kids, as long as they are respectful. I can be a little skittish so very small, high energy kids will probably make me nervous. I weigh 44lbs and could stand to gain 2-3 more, but I'm healthy at the weight I am, too.
Next, the details. I love to be on the furniture and cuddle with my family. I will sleep on a dog bed at night if bed space is limited, but I love to cuddle. And just look how cuuuute I am! And I’m sooooo comfy…
I have a typical pittie energy level, which means play, play, play, then sleep, sleep, sleep. I love to be lazy and I also love to go on walks. I love to do whatever you do, basically!
I am sort of a big puppy, and although I am a VERY good girl, there are things I’m still working on. Like not jumping up to the counter to see what smells so yummy. And coming when called. And being quiet in my kennel when people are home and I really just want to be with them. But I’m a smart girl and a fast learner and I promise to work hard to be your best girl and best friend.
