Now that I have caught your eye with my stunning looks, let me tell you about myself. My name is Queen Lillian. I’m a 4-year-old female German Shepherd Dog. I am the type of girl that shows all of my emotions on the outside so you’ll always know what I am thinking. I come from a remote part of New Mexico so urban life has lots of stimulation that I am not used to experiencing. My foster has been giving me positive exposure to this new environment and I am responding like a pro. I am already building confidence and will truly attach to my person. If you are willing to not pity me but to lead me through discovering city life then I am your girl.
What I have to offer:
- I’m good very good with people and friendly if they let me approach them.
- I would make an excellent companion dog.
- I do very well with other dogs my size; my play is a little rough for smaller dogs! No cats for me, please.
- I’m intelligent, eager to learn and love training!
- I’m focused on my handler! - I walk well on the right leash.
- I am house trained and can be left alone in the house.
- I am not dog reactive or people reactive and love walks in the park.
- I am playful with medium to a low energy level.
- I love to be outside or right by your side.
What I’m working on:
- Beginning level obedience training.
What I’m looking for:
- An active household with daily walks.
- A soft hand with encouragement.
- A home with respectful, dog savvy children above 9 because of my size I can knock over little ones.
- A secure yard, with supervision outside.
- Ongoing obedience training so I can have a mental challenge, build confidence and become the best possible family member.
