Introduciendo Heinz 57! 
Heinz 57 is an amazing 18 month old beauty, brought to Rescue Rovers straight from Juarez, Mexico.  Luckily for Heinz 57, compassion has no borders. This darling girl was one of the over 200,000 street dogs in Juarez. She made it to Utah to find her forever home, which makes her one of the truly fortunate ones.  
Heinz 57's breed is street dog. She has the most adorable tippy ears, beautiful golden brown eyes and the most adorable underbite. She also has a gorgeous brindle coat.
If I had to use one word to describe Heinz 57 it would be grateful.  She is so grateful to have a roof over her head, regular meals and a lots of love. She accepts all the love given and returns it ten-fold.  
Heinz is also a fast learner. In the first couple of weeks here she learned about snow, was crate trained, and is learning  house manners. She is also learning potty training and is doing a great job. All of this while still learning English!  
Heinz 57 does get really excited when she sees another dog and is learning how to stay calm.  She does love to meet new friends and plays well with others. She is also learning how to not resource guard so much.  See, on the street she had to protect what was hers, it was a survival tactic.  She is learning that she doesn't need that skill in a house.  Heinz 57 also lived in such extreme conditions as a puppy that she has some enamel disease.  This just means that you need to brush her teeth regularly, which is something everyone should do anyway!
