Valda is a sweet 2 year old female kelpie.  “V” is learning that going for walks is fun and brings lots of new things to smell and see. She does not pull but does get spooked if kids are screaming or running by and bikes move faster than she is comfortable with right now as well. So someone willing to help her keep improving would be ideal for this sweet lady.

Valda come to Rescue Rovers with a litter of puppies and was under socialized leaving her fearful but never aggressive. After the pups found their own homes it was time to work on herself. She has slowly built her confidence and has even learned that strangers (if they go slow) have really good treats. She is kennel trained but can be left out and be happy as well. She does love the people she trusts completely and sleeping on the bed or couch with them is her favorite spot.
