Do you feel like you were missing something special for the holidays, but don’t know what it was? I’ll give you a hint, it was me. My name is Adira and I am a pitbull mix. Just like many of you, I am looking forward to the new year. As you can see from my before picture I had a rough 2018, but some nice people in New Mexico helped me recover and gain some pounds. I want to put all of that behind me and start this new year with my furever family. Here is what my foster mom knows so far about me:

Pros:

            ⁃          I am such a happy energetic girl
            ⁃          I am very eager to please and treat motivated
            ⁃          House trained
            ⁃          Potty trained
            ⁃          I almost have the kennel thing down (just throw some treats in and I’ll go right in and might  whine a bit because I want to be cuddling with my human but I calm down after a bit)
            ⁃          I know the command "sit"
            ⁃          Almost have the leash thing down too just need some correction
            ⁃          I know “no” means “no”
            ⁃          I LOVE puppuccinos so I am the best coffee buddy
            ⁃          Absolutely LOVE car rides

Cons:

            ⁃          My manners could use some brushing up and would benefit from some classes
            ⁃          I get excited and sometimes think it’s okay to jump on people, but can be easily corrected once I’m told no.
