Hello there! I am Gardena and I am looking for my forever family. I am a female shepherd/lab mix and weigh about 65 lbs. I am a lean, mean, loving machine. I have a pretty simple story; I was adopted by a loving family when I was about 4 months old and they had me until just recently. They were awesome but felt that they couldn't provide me with the life that I needed so here I am! My foster family has been getting to know me and they are quickly falling in love with me (I'm not surprised, tbh) and feel like I'm ready to find my forever family.
I am 2 years old and my foster mom wants me to tell you that I am a tender, sensitive soul. I am a little cautious of new people and will warm up after just a few minutes when I first meet you. But once I get to know you I like to follow you around and cuddle with you.
I like to play with my foster brother and I really enjoy playing fetch with my humans. I also really like toys. I have been comfortable in my kennel if my foster brother is next to me in his kennel, and I like to sleep in there with the door open at night. My ideal forever family will be a family who is dedicated to my continued training and improvement. I am a quick learner and already know how to sit, stay, lay down and shake but I know there is a lot more to learn. I also would prefer a family with another dog to play with, perhaps an older pup who can teach me the ropes, and a family with older children.
Do you think I sound like your perfect gal? Please apply to meet me today at Rescuerovers.org
