Webster’s Dictionary defines “spruce” as neat or smart in appearance. And let me tell you, I not only appear to be a neat and smart boy. I AM a neat and smart boy!

Hold on, let me back up.
Hi there, my name is Spruce Bruce! I’m a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. If I may say so myself, I am quite the charmer. I’m still very much a puppy, I have lots of energy and would love a job or activity to do. I would be such a good running partner or agility dog! I love playing with other dogs who have my same energy level. I’m crate trained and potty trained.
I would love if my family would continue to work with me on my training. I am VERY eager to learn new things! I’m extremely food motivated, I don’t care what it is- chicken, soft treats, even my kibble! I’m still learning how to play with toys. I like chasing tennis balls a lot, but I’m not entirely sure what to do with them once they stop rolling.
With all that being said, I know I sound like a handful. But once I’ve had a chance to get my morning wiggles out, I would love to curl up on the couch with you, if that’s what you want to do! (Especially if you have snacks to share!) If you’re interested in meeting me, apply at rescuerovers.org!
