Dear Future Family,
My name is Cassius Green! I know that you’ve been looking for a dog like me for a while. The chances of us meeting in this big world were slim, but here we are! I’ve had a lot of love in my life, but things didn’t work out the way I planned. I am hoping that you will take a chance on me and appreciate me for the quirky dog I am. I am a 55 pound, 7 year old boxer mix and I am ready to find my furever home! I am a good boy. I won’t chew your shoes or potty on the carpet! I’m learning that my crate is my safe place, but I enjoy sleeping at your feet. I’m sorry if I get too excited and “awoo” in happiness when we first meet. You see, I’ve just been waiting for you for so long! I hope to find someone who is patient, caring, and knows a little about my breed. If you have a doggy sibling waiting for me at home, I would hope you’d understand if I become grouchy with them occasionally around food. Despite this, I love to romp and play with other dogs! I’ve been told that I am a bit clumsy and might bump into smaller children, so I’d love to have an older friend. My excitement gets the best of me around small animals like cats, so I’d rather live in a home without them! Sometimes I need some help remembering not to pull on walks, but I’m a fast learner. I can be your hiking buddy and your shoulder to lean on when you’re sad! I promise to love you always.
