Twizzler is a 2 year old Female Border Collie/Aussie Mix around 35 pounds. Twizzler is a very sweet, shy and submissive young lady.  

Twizzler loves to be close to her humans, once she has warmed up (could take a couple of days). At first she can be shy, but when she realizes she can trust you, she’s a loyal little partner by your side. Being patient with her will be the key. 

She would do well in home with other dogs (she is comforted by them), but unknown on cats. Our assumption would be that she’d be fine with them, but we can have her cat tested if needed. 

She would do best in a home on the “less chaotic” side since she’s learning not to be so afraid of the world. She has so much love to give, but needs to know you are there to love her back. She really loves to cuddle and enjoys walks (she will stop to listen to the birds often). Also if you sit and brush her, she’ll stay still the entire time (she loves it). 

She will also need an adopter that will use a kennel with her. She’s great in a kennel and uses it as her “safe space” if she’s feeling overwhelmed.
