Hi, I’m I15, but my people call me Ifie. When I first came to Rescue Rovers I was pregnant and super scared of all the people, so I ran away. I ran super fast and on to the freeway, which really scared everyone. Then I hid while everyone was looking for me. Within a few days they trapped me in a metal trap on the offramp. I was not happy about it then, but soon I learned that the scary people weren’t THAT scary, and they took good care of me and later my babies.
Now I’m doing lots better, and I’m ready to find my forever family! I’m still a little skittish but I’m coming out of my shell and getting really playful. I’ve decided people are pretty great! Everyone has been so nice! I’ll have an adjustment period with my new people, of course, but with patience and consistency I am ready to be a family member. I’ve learned some basic commands and I’m used to the leash now, although my foster mom says I pull too much still. I love my foster family so much! They give me lots of pets and scratches and I really like the attention. I also love other dogs and I’m good with cats, too.
