Hi! My name is Iggy and I am a 18 month old male doxipoo. Yes you heard right I am a dachshund poodle mix so you get the best of both worlds. I have a dachshund body and poodle hair so no shedding. Not a lot is known about me other than I was found matted and lonely wandering the streets of New Mexico. Someone saved me from that dreadful life cleaned me up and sent me to Utah to find my loving forever home. Until now no one had ever taken the time to teach me the things I needed to know like what it was like  to be loved by a human or how to even be a dog.  Surprise dogs have to learn how to be dogs too. I have been learning so much since I got here. I have learned to run on the grass and roll in the leaves. I like to watch my foster brothers and sisters wrestle. I have fun chasing them and someday would like to learn how to wrestle like that too. I am working real hard on house training. I have learned to go in and out of the doggy door. I had never seen stairs before but I have conquered going up but going down is still scary for me because I tumble to the bottom every time I try to go down but I will learn. I am learning how to walk on a leash but that scares me a little because it seems like someone has a rope around my neck and I have not totally learned that it can be fun and it won’t hurt me. I love kids, well fact is I love everyone. I am a very happy go lucky guy and just really looking for someone who will continue to help me learn and will love me forever.
