This 4 year old goofy Bassett Hound is Imber!  She is a mild mannered, easy going, laid back, gentle, loving, extremely loyal friend and is capable of developing a bond with each member of the family.  She lost her humans just 3 weeks ago and is very sad and needs a lot of cuddles and play time.  Her hair is smooth, short and dense with lots of loose elastic skin that she loves brushed to minimize shedding and keep her healthy.  She is friends with little dogs, big dogs, cats, and all humans especially men.  She can even hold her potty all day for 6 hours without an accident in the house but she will expect a quick run outside and then a great treat!  She loves to watch TV with you and being on the couch or bed (she will get down when commanded though).  She also loves to help out in the kitchen and will keep the floor really clean.  She is looking for a home (not apartment or townhouse or condo) that she can be free to get excited and use her voice since she likes to tell you how much she loves you and missed you especially when returning home.  She has a bit of separation anxiety and likes to bark out the window or through the cat door when her humans leave because she is still sad.  She loves car rides and is starting to like walking on a leash but needs a little more help with this.  She would like to be in another home with another dog to play with, even a Chihuahua like the one she lives with now, and hopes for kids to rub her long ears and belly.  She isn't shy and LOVES to go on walks and wants to get to know everyone.  If you fall in love with her like we have you will put in your application to be her forever family at  www.rescuerovers.org  to adopt this beautiful lady.  She is ready for you today with all her vaccinations, being spayed and microchip already to live her wonderful life!
