My name is Whiskey River I am a  3 yr. old female heeler cross . My foster humans aren’t 100% sure what I am but suspect Collie/Corgi are in the mix, there is one thing they know for sure though, I am pretty cute!!! I am shy but warm up pretty quick if I feel safe with you. I'm a little nervous around new things and noises, but if you just tell me I'm okay I relax and go on with life. I LOVE to cuddle with you while you watch TV, or just sit on the couch. Being with the people I love is the best thing in the world. If you aren't petting me, I will definitely remind you how cute I am and how fun I am to pet! I don’t know how I am with kids, but I would probably just hid from them until I got used to them. My foster moms have two cats and I just leave them alone. I don’t chase them, if anything I go back to my kennel and hide from them. They also have a BIG dog, I am okay with her. We don’t play much because she is so much bigger than me. I like her so I don’t show any aggression she’s just a little intimidating so I usually run away if she spooks me. I do okay on walks but I’m learning to be better. I like to walk super close to you. If loud cars come buy I go right between your legs, until you tell me I’m safe. My kennel is my safe zone, but will let you come in with me if you need to. I even let the cat come in and drink my water while I’m resting. I’m also learning that cars can be fun too. I just sit and watch out the window at all the cool things outside! My foster mom thinks I will do my best with a family that is calm, with a confident Alpha that I can feel safe with as well as a good snuggle buddy.
