You can't catch me, I'm a Jack in the Box! Okay, so maybe that isn't how the rhyme goes, but it's still true. My name is Jack [in the Box], I'm two years old, and I sure am fast! I love to run and I have loads of energy that I like to burn off during the day. I like to play with my canine friends; we play games like tug and wrestling, and I also like to get belly rubs and go on walks. My foster mom says I'm a bit crazy, so I probably need some good training. I think that would be so cool to learn how to do tricks like “sit, “stay,” and “calm down.” Those are considered tricks, right? I really like my foster parents. And I like humans in general, but I get a little excited sometimes, so I prefer to hang out with older kids. It does take me a little bit of time to warm up, especially to guys. I don't trust right away because I had some abusive relationships in the past. But once you're in, you're in, as the saying goes. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I'm totally worth it. I had my foster parents falling in love with me by the first hour! I sleep all night long on a nice big bed, under the covers, pressed right up to my favorite foster parent. (Shhhh…don't tell the other one I said that.) But I'm willing to bump her off the podium for someone permanent. I think that might be you! But I do have some terms of my own. You need to be willing to love me forever and be patient with me. I also need a nice yard to run around in so I don't go stir crazy! Consistency and a good routine is a must!
