Gaga is one of those “Christmas Puppy” stories we hate to tell. She was adopted 3 days before Christmas and within a few weeks the novelty wore off and she became an “outside dog.” After a few months a family member decided to take her home, but Gaga was too rough with her little dog so she was once again sent outside to like on a chain. Luckily, we found out about her situation and got in contact with the adopter to remind them of the contract they had signed. We were able to get her back the same evening we found out about her living on a chain.
Gaga came to her new foster scared and dirty and without any manners. She’d been offered very little love in her life. She got a bath first thing and some one on one cuddles. Then her foster began to work on her socialization. At first Gaga was afraid of the other dogs and didn’t know how to act with them. But all she needed was guidance and stability. Today Gaga is fabulous with other dogs and even enjoys the dog park! She is crate trained and potty trained and is working on walking nicely on leash. This darling girl is ready to find her forever home!
Gaga is 1.5 years old. She’s a bully breed mix, looks like mostly boxer with some pit bull mixed in. She has a moderate energy, likes to play and nap in equal measures.
