I was adopted as a little puppy but my people decided they couldn’t keep me so now I’m looking for someone who will love me for always. In return, I promise to give you so much love!
I am 3 years old and I’m a Catahoula mix. People tell me I’m pretty and I have soft fur and I don’t want to brag but those things are definitely true. 
I take good care of myself with lots of naps and cuddles and I’m prett y sure that’s part of why I’m so pretty – I’ve heard human companionship can add years to a dogs life and make them happier and healthier, too. Oh wait! It’s actually opposite. Having a good girl like me in your life will make you a happier, healthier person who will live longer. Bonus!
More about me…I love people of all ages and I’m great with kids. I’m gentle and sweet and loves are my favorite thing. In fact, when you stop petting me I will nudge you for more! But that’s really for you as much as for me   
I walk nicely on leash and would love to be your walking or hiking partner.
Other dogs make me nervous, but every positive experience helps me be more confident with my canine friends. Right now they call me “dog selective” because I don’t want to be friends with every pup I meet, but I’m making progress. I think I’d probably like to be an only dog, but with a little training and consistency I could be “dog friendly” in no time! My foster family has a cat and I don’t care too much about her, so dog-savvy cats should be fine for me.
