Meet Ice!  He’s the perfect little dog in so many ways. He’s a white Pomeranian, 5 years old, housetrained and good with other dogs. According to the people who had him before he came to Rescue Rovers, some teenage boys made him nervous so he barked at them, and this is how we came to our rescue.

His foster mom doesn’t have teenage boys around, but he’s met new teenagers and has not barked. He does cry when you leave, and will sleep in the bed with you and follow you around the house to be sure you are ok.  He loves to be scratched on his back and will spin in circles when he’s excited.

He’s never marked in the house (he is neutered like all available dogs in our rescue), and seems to have learned that marking is only for bushes outside.  He is not super playful with other dogs, but he seems to be learning that this is actually what dogs are supposed to do. He loves to be carried around or just with you, and “momma’s boy” is a label he’d wear with pride.  One thing about any potential adoption, is that he MUST have regular grooming, and he does shed. He’s amazing and brilliant white, but if you cannot groom him every few weeks, this is not the breed or dog for you. His weight is about 10 lbs, and he’d be a great dog to take on trips as he’d probably do well in an underseat crate on an airplane, as long as he can see you :)
