Hello future family! My name is Madoka and I'm looking for someone to love!
I'm a border collie, which means I'm lots of fun! It also means I get worked up by things that move quickly or have lots of energy. I’m living with a trainer and she’s been teaching me that I don’t need to control everything, I can relax and watch instead. It’s hard for me…but I’m doing a good job! 
I'm 2.5 years old, so I don't have that crazy puppy energy anymore, though I love to play fetch and my ball is my favorite thing! I like kids...though 8 and up (or calmer kids) would probably be best because of those herding instincts!
I'm good with other dogs after a good introduction and some time to get used to everyone. I prefer calmer, male dogs. Once I'm all settled in I really enjoy having a doggie friend.
Inside the house I'm pretty chill. I know some basic commands (sit and down) and I can sit on my hind legs for a treat (yum!)
Occasionally I forget when it's time to be calm, but a little bit of structure goes a long way with me, and I'm a fast learner! I'm also eager to please. It will be required for my people to take me to training. We’ll have a great time – I can’t wait to show you just how smart I am!
