Meet Tad Cooper! This little Chihuahua/Mini-Pinscher Mix is 6 months old. When he first meets people, he’s very shy and when he’s picked up, he’ll snuggle up to your neck because he’s a bit nervous and wants to be loved. Once he starts to develop trust with you, though, he transforms into an energetic, charismatic, puppy. He gets along well with other dogs about his size and enjoys chasing them around a big yard. Our little Tad does get protective of his food and toys around other dogs, but with consistent training and discipline, he’ll be pretty much perfect! Sweet Tad Cooper is a very fast learner. He’s already learned to sit! He’s not fully housetrained yet, but he’s making great progress. Most importantly, Tad Cooper is just a lover. He is scared of men, but he just needs time to develop trust in them. He loves belly rubs and snuggles. He will do best in a home where someone will be there consistently to spend time with him and help him learn how to be a grown-up pup and help him get his energy out.
