Are you looking for the cuddliest lab mix in all of Salt Lake? Look no further! My name is Luxar. I’m 3 years old  and i’m pretty small for being a lab. Even though i’m not tall I make up for it in weight...I’m 50lbs  and very strong! I love my foster parents and all their animals. I like to sniff the cats and run around with the dogs. At first I was a little shy around the dogs, but after a day or two, I realized they were just as friendly as me! They are bigger than me but I still love to wrestle around in the backyard and play chase. Because of this I would be best going to a home with other dogs or a family that will take me out to have fun adventures so I could meet other dogs!
When i’m not playing with my friends, i’m eagerly sitting at my fosters feet waiting to be cuddled. Even though i’m medium sized, I really think i’m a lap dog. I love playing but I would be just as happy spending an afternoon in your arms.I’m not shy, so i’m not afraid to run up to you and shower you with love. I love chewing on nylabones and I even throw toys around to play fetch with myself. If you really want to make me happy, give me peanut butter or ice cubes! I am crate trained and my fosters have no problem putting me in my kennel while they run to the store.  I don’t know how I am around kids yet, but i’m so happy go lucky and cuddly, i’m sure I would be okay with a proper introduction.
I’m a smart boy who already knows how to sit, stay and come. I would love to learn more tricks, because my foster mom says i’m a very smart boy. She says I’m not great at walking on a leash but I know with the right training I’ll learn fast. I can’t wait to find my furever home so we can cuddle all day long.
